Security Officer
Over the three year tenure
with Ultimate Software, positions of increasing responsibility were assigned on
two separate occasions. The first assignment of senior network engineer was
upgraded to team lead networking engineer within the first year of employment.
Since the commencement with Ultimate, I served in a continuing capacity as
security officer.
- Designed and Implemented the network infrastructure for
Ultimate’s Intersourcing (ASP) offering at a remote location facility which
today encompasses over 400 servers including provisions for “lights out”
operations
- Redesigned Ultimate’s Corporate Headquarters Data Center
to include provisions for “lights out” operations
- Led the construction efforts to expand the HQ Data Center
room by 170 sq. ft.
- Designed and led construction initiative for Ultimate’s
new 612 ft. “Server Room” for development which now houses over 200 servers
- Migrated existing 3COM infrastructure to Cisco’s
Catalysts 6513, 3500, 4000, 2900 and 3662, 2620, 7200 Routers, 3030 VPN
Concentrator
- Responsible for designing and installation of Network
Monitoring Software including CiscoWorks 2000, Vital Suites, Argent
Guardian, Argent Predictor, Consolidator and Distributed Sniffers
- Authored the Network Security Policy for Ultimate
Software Corporation
- Created Intranet for network services department to track
projects, security bulletins, etc.
- Designed the 2003 Active Directory for the HQ network
- Designed and Implemented the SFTP (Secure FTP) Linux
Solution for the Intersourcing Offering. Also created PERL scripts to make
administration easy on the other administrators
- Designed and Implemented the VMWare ESX Servers for the
Intersourcing Offering. Including the configurations of the Linux OS,
Security, and Guest Operating Systems
