· Responsible for configuring, installing, and supporting Windows NT and Novell Networks in all of Hvide Marine sites worldwide. Diagnose and evaluation of software and repairing hardware problems.
· Managed and supported an AT&T Definity Telephone System with 300+ Stations.
· Network hardware supported: Cisco 1600, 2500 Series Routers, Cisco IOS 10.3 – 11.2 IP Plus, Cisco 2924, 1900 Series Switches, Cisco PIX Firewall IOS 4.1.7, 3 COM Linkswitch 1000, 3000 Switches.
· Network Diagnostics software used are: DSS Sniffer, MS Network Monitor.
· Responsible for monitoring and supporting a nine site Frame Relay Network and a full T1 line Internet Pipe.
· Applications support for Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT Server 3.51 - 4.0, Windows NT 4.0 Workstation, Novell 3.11 - 4.11, TenFour SMPT Gateway, Oracle Client, Microsoft Office, cc:Mail 5.1 - 8.3, FRx for Oracle.
· Implemented the installation of cc:Mail in the Local Area and Wide Area sites, Norton Antivirus Solution Center, Windows NT RAS Server, Virtual Private Networks, Windows NT CD-ROM Server, SMTP Gateway Server.
· Developed Microsoft Access Databases, Microsoft Visual Basic Application for company use.
